Dr. Lesco L. Rogers is a native of London, England. He received the medical degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire in 1990. He subsequently completed a residency in anesthesiology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital followed by an interventional pain management fellowship at Georgetown University. He was a faculty member of the Michigan Head Pain and Neurological Institute, an internationally renowned headache center, and the Duke University Pain and Palliative Care Clinic.

He manages a wide range of pain syndromes with a focus on interventional management of spine-related pain. He has a particular interest in interventional management schemes for refractory headaches and neck pain. He utilizes therapeutic modalities, including nerve blocks, nerve ablation, neurostimulation and medical management.

He is currently an adjunct clinical assistant professor in the departments of psychiatry at Duke University and Wake Forest University. His clinical research interest includes migraine, trauma-related headaches and movement disorders with an additional research interest in biomedical engineering. He was formerly a consultant to Advanced Bionics and then to Boston Scientific after the company was acquired. He has collaborated on the development of a new device for migraines, currently undergoing an international FDA trial in the U.K. and U.S.
